Funeral services for Ronald K. Bender, 73, of Orion, IL, formerly of Indianola, will be held Friday, September 4th at 1 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Perry. Burial will follow at the Violet Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3rd from 4-7 pm at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory in Moline, IL, and will continue from noon until the time of the service at the First United Methodist Church in Perry.

Survivors include wife, Debby Boise Bender of Orion, Illinois; sons, Kent Bender of Missouri and Kevin Bender of Illinois; sisters: Joy Hawbaker of Arkansas, and Nancy Luckow of Iowa. 2 aunts, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many cousins and friends.
