Guthrie Center’s can and bottle redemption center will re-open tomorrow. It will be open each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and the first and third Saturdays of each month. Administrator Gary Randel says all items must be counted, plastic and cans be brought only in clear plastic bags, soda and beer cans must be separated, glass beer and soda bottles should be brought in their boxes and he reminds consumers that any items left outside will be considered donations. Customers with over 1,000 items are asked to make an appointment by calling 641-332-2127. Operating hours are as follow: Hours: Monday: 9-11:45 am and 1-4:30 pm
Tuesday: 9-11:45 am and 1-4 pm by appointment also
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 1-5 pm
Friday: 9-11:45 am and 1-4:30 pm
Saturday (1st & 3rd of the month): 7:30 am – 12 pm
