September is National Library Card Signup Month. Stuart Public Library Director Sandy Pollard says in order to get ready for first time library users getting a card, they have created a pamphlet with useful introductory information. “It’s got the fact that we print, copy, fax, scan, and the fees for those. We’ve got the fines for overdue books and what the consequences will be if you lose or damage a book. You can go online and reserve a book, or call us up to reserve a book. You can request a book from interlibrary loan, though we do charge a three dollar fee for that, for mailing.”

The new pamphlets are available for free at the library.
