Greene County lost three sets to none on Tuesday night to Roland-Story in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference volleyball in Story City. Scores were 19-25, 16-25, 22-25. Coach Donna Carhill’s team came from eight points down in set three to lead briefly before the Norsemen took the set and game.
The Rams fall to 4-8 overall and 0-3 in conference play. They are 11-21 in sets.
Next up for Greene County is the Ballard Tournament in Huxley on Saturday, Sept. 19. The Rams will get to play at home in Jefferson for the first time this season when they host PCM (Monroe) and Saydel (Des Moines) on Sept. 24 in the middle school gym.
