The Perry Jayettes lost to Ballard in three straight games Tuesday night in Huxley  25-16, 26-24 and 25-15.  Perry played the first set without their leading hitter as Ellie Nielsen is still trying to nurse a sore ankle.  She returned in the second and third set as the Jayettes dropped a critical second set after leading for a good portion of the game.  “We just had too many hitting errors,” stated Head Coach Kristel Schultz.  “We are still focusing on keeping the momentum and not letting them have huge point comebacks.”

Perry finished with 16 hitting errors.  The Jayettes Sidney Vancil had 18 assists and was 14-15 serving with 2 aces and also 5 digs.  Jo Diw had 8 kills and 4 digs.  Grace Marburger added 9 kills and 7 digs.

Perry has the rest of the week off before returning to action next Tuesday.
