A Jefferson man is sentenced to prison for a July incident.
According to the Greene County Clerk of Court’s office, 33 year-old Anthony Kennedy is sentenced to two years in prison for an aggravated misdemeanor for eluding, a serious misdemeanor for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and a probation violation order from a July incident.
Charges stem an incident on July 26th when Kennedy led Jefferson Police on a chase through town, after Kennedy refused to pull his vehicle over for having a warrant from Greene and Hamilton counties. He violated his probation on June 18th in Hamilton County for an accessory to a felony charge.
He was also ordered to pay a $1,250 fine.
