Those being honored in this year’s Violet Hill Cemetery Walk have at least two things in common, they’re all residents of Perry and were involved in music.

Local actors will portray David Evans, Kate Hurd, Muriel Buettell and LeRoy Whyte while leading participants on a tour of the cemetery.

Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber encourages everyone to support the organization and learn more about the honorees.

“This is a great organization and they have zero budget basically so free will donations are accepted, believe me they will not push, nor probably ask but feel free to help support them.  They do a lot of things to continue the story of Perry.”

The second, and final, chance to see this year’s presentation is Saturday at 1pm at the cemetery.
