Though registration is required for the early portion of Saturday’s Going Native: Iowa Prairies seminar, the afternoon activities are free and open to the public.

Everyone is invited to the Forest Park Museum

“George Pena, otherwise known as Good Singer Eagle, will retell the stories of old to carry out his people’s respect for animals, plants and people.  Arlen Whitebreast will be there.  He’s an award winning grass dancer.  In full regalia he will educate attendees on Native American culture through the art of dance.  So we’re really pleased to have that.” The performances will take place from 4-5:30pm.  For more information call 465-3577.

If you’d still like to participate in the Going Native program earlier in the day, give Caitlyn Ryan ca call at 993-4281.
