Greene County and Creston/Orient-Mackburg meet in a non-district football game tonight in Creston. Ram head coach Dean Lansman’s team and Coach Brian Morrison’s Panthers are both 2-1. The Greene County coach said he likes the leadership and togetherness his team, led by the senior class, has shown. “We ended Wednesday’s practice with some pretty difficult conditioning called “bear crawls” and it was really neat to see the players that were finished go back on the field and cheer on their teammates that were still on the field. Some of them even got down and crawled along side their teammate to encourage them.”The Ram coach added, “It shows leadership and character, and the fact that we’re all in this together as one!”
