Greene County’s middle school and high school girls and boys were cancelled out of the Panorama High School cross-country meet Thursday. It was scheduled for the Lake Panorama Par 3 Golf Course, but two inches of rain Thursday morning turned things pretty messy and slippery, and with additional rain chances in the forecast for later Thursday, meet  officials cancelled. Some 25 schools were scheduled for the Panorama coed meet with hundreds of runners spread across middle school, JV, and two classes of varsity competition.

That means the Rams aren’t scheduled to run until Sept. 24 in Story City at the Norsemen Invitational.
