Those who want to be part of the Perry Chamber’s new coupon book need to get their information in soon.
Executive Director Bob Wilson says he feels this is something that will be beneficial to local businesses, residents and visitors.
“This is an important piece. Not only for the savings for the customer but also for the promotional side. We’re going to print about 3,000 copies of this, hand them out at sporting events, Chamber events, have them accessible at the Chamber (office), various merchants. It’s just a way to promote, beyond the savings. So part of this is going to be a coupon but then on the same page, the businesses if they choose to do so can promote their daily specials, where they might be located or what they’re known for, their website or whatever. So it’s something that people can use beyond just kind of perusing.
The goal is to have the books ready by Spooktacular on October 30, so businesses that want to participate need to submit information to the Chamber by next Thursday, October 1st. Stop by the office or call 465-4601 for more information.
