The Bluejay football team looks to win their first game of the season tonight, as they travel to Carroll to take on the tigers in a class 3A district 2 match up. The Bluejays are coming off a performance against Boone in which they looked improved in nearly every phase. Carroll presents a unique challenge to opposing defenses, with a power running game anchored by the district’s leading rusher.

Perry head coach Jason Olejnicjak discusses what he’d like to see from his team tonight, “I want to see us continue to compete, which we have, and continue to be physical. But I want to see us hang in this game and give ourselves a chance to win.”
