A babies and books event will take place Friday at 10 a.m. at the Stuart Public Library.
Director Sandy Pollard says mothers and babies of any age can come and enjoy reading, singing and playing. Pollard says the events expand the babies’ early vocabulary while also providing a social atmosphere. “It promotes building a baby’s brain. It just allows you another way, maybe some company along the way, while you read to your baby.”
