Adel residents and business owners are encouraged to attend a public input meeting Wednesday in regards to this summer’s basement flooding issues.
Attendees will share challenges faced by the recent flooding and be introduced to the process that the City is undergoing to investigate and address the concerns.
McClure Engineering Company is working with the City on the project. Over the next three months, they will be evaluating the sanitary and storm sewer systems to investigate the potential causes of basement flooding and determine potential solutions.
The meeting takes place from 6-8pm Wednesday in the Adel Public Library’s community room.
