It’s a rare Monday tournament later today for the Greene County High School volleyball team. Coach Donna Carhill’s Rams go to Story City for the Roland-Story Tournament. This is a varsity only event and is the only action this week for the Rams, who improved to 8-11 on the season with a sweep on Sept. 24 of Heart of Iowa Activities Conference teams PCM (Monroe) and Saydel (Des Moines). That’s been the only time this season the Rams have played at home in the middle school gym in Jefferson.
After tonight, the next varsity action for Greene County is a triangular in Jefferson with Boone and Gilbert on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
