Leaders from across the state will gather in Perry next week for a three-day program and local businesses and organizations are encouraged to help make sure they return to visit.

Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says around 40 people will be taking part in the Leadership Iowa program and he’s collecting items to be added to welcome bags.

“Were going to really try to make them leave Perry with a wow factor.  One of the ways we’re going to do that is when they come into town on October 7th, we’re going to give them a welcome back.  What we want to do is have promotional items, one-sheets, advertisements, informational pieces to get them out and about in the community.”

Anyone who would like to donate items is encouraged to contact Wilson at the Chamber as soon as possible.
