
As we continue into fall, we’ll see more large, slow moving farm implements on the roads.
Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says cooperation between motorists and farmers is key in making sure this harvest season is a safe one. “Farmers do a good job of trying to keep everyone safe on the road. They don’t want to cause an accident, because it’s a busy time of the year for them. I tell everyone to have a little patience this time of year.”
Iowa Department of Agriculture Communications Director Dustin Vande Hoef says harvest could be well underway this week in our region of the state.
