It was a battle of high quality, highly ranked Class 1A football teams in Panora Friday night as Panorama hosted Van Meter. Panorama Head Coach Lyle Alumbaugh says his team missed on some fundamental aspects of the game. “We didn’t block well and we didn’t tackle well. Those are two pretty major entities in a football game. I don’t want to take anything away from Van Meter. They outplayed us.”

The Panthers will try to bounce back Friday night when they head to Des Moines Christian.
