Adults in Dallas County who are planning to vote in next month’s city elections are encouraged to register in advance to save time at the polls.

The deadline to register is 5pm on Friday, October 23rd at the auditor’s office.

If you do not register in advance, you will need to show proof of both residency and identity on election day.

Registration forms can be found online in a link in this story on our website.  You can either drop them off at the auditor’s office or mail it to 910 Court Street in Adel.

If your name, political party or address has changed since the last election, you can re-register with the updated information or make changes at the polling place on election day.
