A freshman at Guthrie Center is ranked as being one of the top 30 runners in Class 1-A. Tigers head coach Colin Shawgo says Lauryn Embleton is having an excellent season and is well deserving of her number 29 ranking by the Iowa Track Coaches Association. “We were just excited to see her improving each week. At West Central Valley, she was running neck and neck with some ranked girls. We got really excited when she cracked the top 30 ranking. It was awesome.”

The Tigers run again tomorrow afternoon in the West Central Conference meet at Lake Panorama.
