The Perry Public Library’s monthly book club continues to meet and next week they will discuss Monuments Men by Robert Edsel.
Perry Public Library Director Mary Murphy says Winterset Library Director Nancy Trask will lead the discussion.
“She has done several guest speaking events on the Monuments Men. Now this was made into a movie but her research is based on facts and figures. So you might get more insight about what really happened. You’ll get the flavor from the film but the film is not always true to the facts, so we’re looking forward to that.”
The club meets at 1pm Tuesday in the library’s large meeting room. Everyone is welcome to attend the free event.
