Webster City defeated the Perry Bluejays by the final score of 42-6 on a chilly night at Dewey Field.
Perry managed 163 yards of total offense, with quarterback Ryan Rathje going 7 of 19 with 81 yards passing. Jacob Thompson led the Bluejays with 3 catches for 44 yards and a touchdown. Wyatt Halling connected with Thompson on a 29 yard pass for Perry’s only points of the evening. Webster City tailback Gavin Dinsdale accounted for 3 of the Lynx’ scores, including a 77 yard scamper in the 2nd quarter after Perry turned the ball over on downs.
The Lynx move to 8-0 on the season while the Bluejays fall to 0-8. Perry will celebrate senior night next week by hosting Humboldt in the season finale.
