A new program for creative individuals will kick off Wednesday night in Guthrie Center.
Organizer Nancita Wernett says the Writer’s Jam will provide an outlet for all kinds of spoken word or musical art. “It will provide a place for people to show their individuality and share their creative writing, their original songs, short stories, poetry and even short plays. The whole idea is to give people in the community an opportunity to do things like that.”
The first Writer’s Jam will take place Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Prime Time restaurant. Wernett will tell us more about it today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
