Tomorrow is the final day to enter a contest to win $100 cash from Jefferson Matters: Main Street.

Program Director Peg Raney says their “Fall Into Jefferson, Leaf Happy” is a promotion encouraging people to take selfies at different locations in the downtown area.

“Take a picture with maybe the proprietor of the store or something that you find that’s interesting in the store.  We’re trying to promote all the cool things that are available here in our community.”

Eligible businesses have a huge fall leaf on the door.  Once you take a selfie, upload it to Jefferson Matters Instagram account at #Jeffersonmatters or to their Facebook page, along with the location of where you took the picture.  The selfie that has the most shares or likes will receive $100 cash.

The contest has been going on since September 21st and ends October 21st.
