Funeral Services for Meryl Youngblood, 81 of Jefferson will be at 10:30 am Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. A private family burial will take place at the Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 11:00 am on Friday October 23, 2015 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Masonic Service will follow the visitation at 8:00 pm also at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his daughter: Marilyn Parker of Churdan, IA; his sons: Larry Youngblood of Peoria, IL, and Bruce Youngblood of Jefferson, IA; 4 grandchildren: Kyle, Kayla, Sara and Danielle Youngblood; his sister: Lois Jean Johnson of Urbandale, IA; sisters-in-law: Maxine Harvey of Sheffield, IA, and Elizabeth Lund of Badger, IA; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
