RVR treeThe Carnegie Library Museum’s Festival of Trees debuted last year with around a dozen decorated Christmas trees on the top floor of the building.

This year, it has expanded to include 35 trees decorated by local businesses, organizations and government entities on both levels of the museum.

Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says it’s a great event that really brings people together.

“If you didn’t see this last year, the Carnegie Library Museum’s great roster of volunteers – their board is awesome, held the festival of trees and local businesses and organizations came in and decorated these trees.  The big thing here is they want to promote businesses and organizations.  I’m excited for this and that’s a beautiful facility.  Just seeing visitors come in and seeing that wow factor like ‘Oh my goodness’ and it just gets better when it’s filled with trees.”

The exhibit will be on display November 21st through December 20th on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm and Sundays from 1-4pm.

There’s no cost to attend but donations are accepted for those who want to vote for their favorite tree.

Santa will also be there to chat with children on Sunday, December 6th from 1:15 to 3pm.
