Greene County High School sophomore Haley Hall qualified for the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union State Swimming & Diving Championships this weekend in Marshalltown. Hall swims for the the Boone Toreadors under an athletic sharing agreement. She qualified as the butterfly leg of the 200 yard medley relay and she told Raccoon Valley Radio what she thought the experience would be like. “I think it will be a fun experience. I’m really excited to go. We haven’t qualified since 1988 in a relay, so that will be interesting.”

Hall is one of the few Greene County females to qualify for a State Swimming & Diving Meet. It’s been more common for boys from here to qualify with the Boone Toreadors including Nick Schroeder, who made it to State in Feb. of this year.
