The 17th annual Jefferson Rotary Club Auction is next week and there are tickets still available.

Chair Mike Palmer says about 200 people attend the yearly fundraiser and last year’s auction brought in over $38,000.  He’s impressed that for the last few years, a new record is set in terms of how much money they raise.

“It’s a very nice thing to see happen every year.  Typically, you would think that these things run their course a little bit but this one just seems to get stronger and stronger, it’s very encouraging.  I really want to thank all the people who come out for this (event).”

The auction features both live and silent items along with cash raffles throughout the evening.  It will be on Friday, November 13th at the Jefferson Elks Lodge.  The social hour begins at 5:30pm, followed by a steak dinner at 6:30pm and the live auction will start at 8pm.

Tickets are $30 from any Rotarian and the raffle tickets are $5 each.
