Low voter turnout in Dallas County for the city elections Tuesday.
According to unofficial results from the Dallas County Auditor’s office, Perry Mayor Jay Pattee, Councilwoman Barb Wolling and Councilman Chuck Schott were all reelected to another term. Additionally, a write in candidate, assumedly Dean Berklund, won the open seat as current Councilman Phil Stone did not seek reelection.
In Adel, Jim Peters will again serve as Mayor for another term, while incumbents Shirley McAdon and Michael Haynes will also serve another term, along with challenger Bob Ockerman.
All results are unofficial until canvassed by the Dallas County Board of Supervisors Thursday at 4pm in Adel.
