perry libraryThe Perry Public Library is offering an opportunity for local residents to learn how to make a special gift later this month.

Children’s librarian Suzanne Kestel is working with a Stampin’ Up manager to help host the family event on November 21st.

“There will be a scene with winter, it’s got a wooden bridge over it, we’re going to have a Christmas tree up and I’m not sure if we’re going to have a wreath or something else. But families can come in and have their picture taken in front of these things and then Kathy (Winter) has this lovely way with the paper lunch bags and makes books out of them.  So what we thought was you can either keep it for yourself or if you have a loved one that doesn’t live real close, you could give it to them for Christmas.”

The program takes place at the library from 3-5pm.  Registration is requested by alling 465-3569 before November 18th.
