The Perry girls basketball team will report for the first official day of practice today when the Jayettes gather after school in preparation for the upcoming season.  It will be a new look squad for veteran Head Coach Mike Long as the Jayettes took a hard hit to graduation.  Claire Marburger, Maggie Lowe and Amy Marckres were all multiple year starters that Long will have to replace.  Perry will be dealing with low numbers but have some skill coming back in key positions.  Grace Marburger will look to be the main scorer as she continues to recover from an injured hand sustained during the volleyball season.
