The Stuart City Council will meet tonight. They will hear a presentation from Fire Chief Mike Renslow and discuss the Rural Opportunity Zone Program with Kristen Renslow. Additionally, Kirk Blunk from Hotel Stuart will make a request for Tax Increment Financing (TIF). Plus, the Council will discuss digitizing newspapers with the Historic Commission, city employee health insurance coverage, code enforcement and hear a presentation from Mayor Dick Cook about dangerous and vicious dogs, LED lights at stop signs and the soccer complex. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. inside of City Hall.
