The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
Items on the agenda include two public hearings in regards to the rezoning of solid ground and sale of bricks. The Council will then hear from department heads, set a public hearing in regards to the issuance of $300,000 in sewer revenue capital loan notes, approve a Tax Increment Financing indebtedness certification and approve an interfund loan.
The annual urban renewal report will then be considered, along with changes in health and dental insurance and possible action on a request to build a basketball court on city owned property.
Next the Council will consider allowing the Girls Scouts to build a dog park near the aquatic center, approve the sale of bricks, discuss the purchase of a new snow plow truck, approve a final plat, appoint Vonzdale Odem to the Historic Preservation Commission, and set a public hearing in regards to the land use plan.
The meeting takes place at 6pm at the Adel City Hall.
