Greene County High School girls’ basketball assistant coach Jeff Lamoureux should get his fill of basketball this winter. Lamoureux has a sophomore, Regan, on the girls’ team, and a senior, Reid, on the boys’ team. “I figured I was going to be in the gym a lot anyway, so I might as well be coaching,” Lamoureux told Raccoon Valley Radio. “It will be exciting and I’ll be watching a lot of basketball this year. We just hope both the boys and girls have successful seasons.”

The Rams start the girls’ season on Tuesday, Nov. 24 in Jefferson at the middle school gym vs. PCM (Monroe) and boys open on Dec. 1 in Jefferson vs. Perry as part of a girl/boy doubleheader. The Greene County teams can be heard throughout the 2015-16 basketball season on KG98 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
