Last season, the ADM girls basketball team was undersized, and at times struggled to stay out of foul trouble. Head coach Corey Schneider believes the depth of this year’s team should help negate those issues. “Right now we’re pretty confident we have 8 or 9 girls that will see action, and we feel confident with. We should be deep enough that we don’t have issues in terms of girls fouling out or getting tired. We should be able to have a fairly deep lineup this year. We’re not big, but we will have enough girls,” Schneider said.
Though they lack height, the Tigers do have girls that are capable of playing multiple positions, allowing the coaching staff to mix and match lineups as well as apply full-court pressure. The Tigers’ depth will be tested as they begin the season by playing 3 games in the span of 5 days.
