The West Central Valley boys basketball team is having a productive first week of practice. Head coach Nick Peasley says they’re working on a variety of things. “Conditioning in the morning, then in practice we are just making sure every practice has a purpose. That’s our biggest deal this year, making sure every thing we do has purpose.”

The Wildcats get their first taste of a game-type situation when they head to the Martensdale-St. Mary’s Jamboree Monday night.
