The ADM girls’ basketball team travels to Des Moines for their first game of the 2015-2016 season. They will be facing a Des Moines Christian team fresh off their second straight state tournament appearance. The Lions were ranked 9th in class 2A last year and while they did lose some key players, head coach Corey Schneider explains they will use their height as a strength. “Des Moines Christian, they lost two really good players last year so it’s hard to say how they will replace them but they do have size that we don’t have,” Schneider explained.
It will certainly be a an interesting matchup as despite their lack of size, the ADM Tigers have been an excellent rebounding team for both offense and defense. You can catch the game on K107.9FM with pre-game coverage tipping off at 7:45pm and game tip off at 8:00pm.
