The West Central Valley girl’s basketball team is taking the day off, but other than that they’re working hard this holiday week, says their head coach Drew Stonewall. “We’re gonna have practice Friday morning. They get Thursday off, of course. We’ve got a scrimmage at Oakland-Riverside scheduled Saturday morning. Even though school’s out the rest of the week, we’re still going to be busy in the gym trying to get better.”

The girls face off against Woodward-Granger Tuesday night at home.
