The Greene County Board of Supervisors met on Monday in regular session.

The Board approved a change to the Title VI Non-Discrimination Agreement between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the County.  The change was removing former Supervisor Mary Jane Fields name from the agreement to current Supervisor Chair John Muir.

The Board heard an update from Jefferson Matters: Main Street.  They talked about past projects from this year and looking ahead for projects for next year.  At the end of the presentation, a request was made to the Board to continue contributing $5,000 to their organization per year for the next three years.  No action was taken on the request.

Finally, the Board discussed the Freedom Rock at the county fairgrounds.  It was recommended that a committee be formed to continue the discussions until the project happens in 2017.
