Greene County had a handful of wrestlers in its season debut and lost to the combined Van Meter/Earlham team 48-18 and to Ogden 54-6 Tuesday night in Van Meter.

The only contested matches vs. Ogden were at 132 where Cayden Gerdes won 4-2 over Zach Waterbury, 138 with Isaac Ireland losing by fall in 5:09 to Jacob Kathman, Isaiah Yoder winning at 170 by a 6-3 score over Logan Sturtz, and 195 with Hunter Ruth losing by fall in 3:30 to Nick Ross.

The match vs. VM/Earlham saw Gerdes and Ireland win by forfeit, and Yoder won by fall in 3:59 over Noah Hale. Ruth lost by fall to Isaac Benton in 56 seconds.
