The ADM Girls basketball team will look to add another W to the win column as the Tigers enter conference play tonight taking on the Winterset Huskies. It will be the conference opener for both teams making it the prime chance to get ahead early on in the Raccoon River Conference.

The Lady Tigers will take on a Winterset team coming off of a solid 14-10 season which saw the Huskies shoot an impressive 73.8% from the free throw line good enough for first in the Raccoon River conference. The Huskies showed impressive poise from the charity strip and capitalized on more free throws than any other team in the conference last season leading in free throw percentage by over 8% compared to the second spot. The Lady Tigers will have to be very mindful on defense as the Lady Huskies ranked first in the conference with the least amount of turnovers last season with 191; 44 less than the second spot in the Perry Blue Jays.

The ADM girls will look to counter the Huskies by continuing to grab offensive rebounds just like they’ve been doing since last season when they ranked third in total offensive rebounds within the Raccoon River Conference.
