Bob Mangano of Redfield was traveling west in the 15000 block of Old Highway 6 when he stopped behind a school bus that had activated it’s light and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Neal Leas of Redfield. Leas was transported to Mercy Hospital by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to Mangano’s vehicle estimated at $7000.00 and $11000.00 to Leas’s.

Jeffrey James Benson, age 35 of 4424 Amick Ave., Des Moines was arrested at Jordan Creek and Vista Dr., for public intoxication.
Amanda Punelli of Stuart was traveling in the 32000 block of Dexfield Rd. when she hit the right shoulder and lost control rolling into the ditch and coming to rest against a utility pole. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10000.00.

Bradley James Schoeberl, age 42 of `1020 Silkwood St., Grimes was arrested in the 100 block of 10th St., Dallas Center for OWI.
Kristina Marie Merical, age 48 of 308 N 2nd St., Jamaica was cited and released in the 35000 block of N Ave., for driving while license was revoked.
Alec Daniel Johnson, age 22 of 1100 Sycamore St., Dallas Center was charged with open container.
Matthew Wemhoff of Lincoln Ne., was traveling in the 25000 block of Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1000.00.
