In less than two weeks the days will start getting longer again and the Dallas County Conservation Board invites everyone to come celebrate.
This year’s Winter Solstice Sunrise Celebration takes place Monday, December 21st at 7am. Naturalists will meet the group at Hanging Rock park in Redfield and the morning will include a conversation near a fire and a short hike up to the rock clock as the first rays of sun shine.
The program is weather dependent and will only occur if the weather is clear.
