All sixth through eighth graders are invited to a special fundraiser tomorrow in Jefferson.

Greene County High School National Honor Society is hosting a dance at the Webb House from 8 to 10pm on Friday. The cost is $3 per person, with all the proceeds going to Lots of Socks with RSVP 55+ and New Opportunities. RSVP Coordinator Julie Souder says they appreciate fundraiser events like the one planned for Friday.

“We’re just so grateful for their help because we do get a lot of socks and underwear from the community. But this really allows us to fulfil the spaces that we didn’t get any in the specific sizes and that really helps us.”

Lots of Socks helps those children who are in need of socks, underwear, diapers and Pull-Ups. Donations are accepted anytime at 204 West Washington in Jefferson. Checks must be made payable to RSVP Volunteer Program to P.O. Box 104, Jefferson, Iowa 50129.
