The Panorama boys basketball team is looking to get their early season back on track after losing two straight games. The Class 2-A Panthers recently lost to two of the best teams in Class 1-A, falling 73-45 @ IKM-Manning on Saturday and being edged out by conference foe Earlham 58-55 Tuesday night.
According to Iowa basketball analyst website BCMoore, the Panthers are 26 point favorites heading into Friday’s game at Guthrie Center, but head coach Brad Halterman says anything can happen in a rivalry game. “Those county rivalry games that you never know what you’re going to get. Seems to be a good basketball game no matter where it’s played.”
Tipoff is scheduled for approximately 7:30 p.m., following the girls game at Guthrie Center High School.
