The Perry Community School Foundation is hosting their second annual Christmas Silent Auction and Championship Bake-Off next week.
School activity programs at the high school will be bringing in baked goods and holiday treats Friday, December 18th. The items will be judged and then auctioned off at halftime of the boys’ basketball game.
There will also be a silent auction with several items including tickets to the Des Moines Menace, Iowa Cubs, Iowa Energy and Iowa Wild, handmade collegiate lap quilts, an art piece, six months of cookies and a super bowl party for up to 20 people.
In addition to the top six baked goods being auctioned off in the middle of the basketball game, also up for grabs is an evening at The Cellar at La Poste.
All money raised from the baked goods will go to the specific school activity that contributed the items, money from the silent auction and La Poste donation will benefit the School Foundation.
