The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary has had a successful string of fundraisers this fall.
Auxiliary Liaison Hollie Roberts says their Table Talk event in October raised $3,716 and earlier this month, the Holiday of Lights brought in $4,030. The total gross from Thursday’s Holiday Candy Sale were $1,248.
President Sharon Stoline appreciates everyone’s willingness to help them out during each of their fundraisers.
“That’s what makes our Auxiliary successful is to have the community behind it. And without the community behind it, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. And the employees here at the medical center support our activities which is great also.”
All the proceeds from the fundraisers goes back to the Auxiliary to purchase equipment for the medical center. A $15,000 pledge was recently made by the Auxiliarians to the capital campaign of the medical center.
