The Perry boys basketball team will look to get back in the win column as they travel to Ballard to take on the Bombers in the roundhouse. Perry was handed their first loss of the year on Tuesday at Dallas Center-Grimes. One area of focus for this year’s Bluejay squad has been rebounding, and though Perry struggled on the boards against the Phillies, head coach Ned Menke remains confident in his team’s ability to rebound. “(Janier) Peunte has improved, the addition of Conner Nielsen who had 8 rebounds in the Carlisle game, and Solomon (Pierce). Those 3 right there coming off the bench, just a lot of athleticism and size, and ability to go up and get rebounds.”
