The Perry Jayette basketball team will try to snap a five game losing skid tonight when they entertain 2-5 Norwalk in a 6:00 game at the Perry Sports Pavilion.  Norwalk is 2-5 on the season and played a heavy dose of Raccoon River Conference opponents in the early half of the season. Tonight’s game with Perry will be their 5th matchup against a RRC school currently posting a 2-2 record with victories over ADM and Winterset.  Perry turned in a solid performance in a tight loss at Ballard Friday night.  Senior Taylor Lathrum continues to the lead the team inside and enjoys the physcial nature that the post play presents.

“Yeah, I really enjoy fighting for my team under the basket.  Everytime I get punched or scratched it just motivates me even more to go out and do my job.  I enjoy that part of it.”
