A free class about early childhood literacy will be offered tonight in Jefferson.
Iowa Public Television and Partnerships 4 Families are teaming up to put on the workshop. IPTV Educational Services staff will explain how to use Public Broadcasting Services resources and can answer questions or concerns about early childhood literacy. The class will be at the Greene County Extension office, which Director Lori Mannel says they are happy to let IPTV utilize their facility.
“Our facility is used quite a bit for other nonprofits because we do not charge a fee for our meeting room. We’re very, very happy that we can provide this service to our partners and to other nonprofits.”
The free workshop will also count toward Department of Human Services training hours too. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptop or mobile device. To register, click the link below.
